We Changed Our Name

We started The Perfit Shop to carve a space for ourselves in an industry that typically doesn’t cater to us. The essence of our brand has always rested on celebrating communities of color. Our decision to now be known as miinu is a reflection of these commitments.

This new name came to us from the Ghanaian word meaning two, "mmienu".  miinu signifies community, togetherness, family, and home. Though we started just the two of us, the support of all of you– our friends, customers, family and advisors– motivate us to execute a vision even bigger than we've imagined.

Thank you for sticking with us as we adopt miinu and continue to create with you at the forefront of our minds.
